"I have never trusted someone like this before... or at least not for a very long time, Nathan" she says looking at me, my arms wrapped around her waist and hers around my neck.
"and I love you, Nathan" she looks into my eyes while she talks and doesn't move away. It still surprises me when she doesn't move away or even look away even though she can't see me.
"you don't know how long I've been waiting for you to say that." I lean down closing my eyes and leave a soft kiss on her lips. She smiles and moves her hand to my cheek and kisses me.
"since you said it first" she mumbles against my lips her eyes closed. She nuzzles her nose into my neck and I hold her closer to me.
"Can we stay like this forever" she breaths out holding me tighter.
"I wish we could" I sigh and lifts her up, laying down on the bed and cuddles into her. She smiles and I kiss her cheek.
"Please..." she says sleepily and eventually falls asleep and so do I to her heavy breath.

I wake up to a buzzing, my alarm going off hitting it off and finds the space beside me empty and that's when everything comes flooding back, hitting me like bricks. I sink back into my bed not even remebering why I had an alarm and curls into a ball, letting the waves of sadness wash over me.

"I may not remember much, but I do know that I had the best time with you last night." Charlie drops his hand from his mouth and lifts his head to stare into my eyes, pushing his hair back from his face at the same time. "And I know this is awkward now, because I'm pretty sure we were both naked together in bed last night..." I choke on air, trying to dispel the imaginary object from my throat.
