This, is The World of Povini, which is based off a roleplay that my friends and I are doing. This might end up being a series, but I'm not quite sure. Enjoy!
Blurb:
Perseus Raen is an assassin, who is long-time friends with a dragonborn, named Harsha "Mun" Marshclaw, or as his father calls her, Sitara "Moonlight" Sovinwing. Harsha's father is the evil immortal dragonborn king, Aelius, who raised Sitara to be a military leader, and put her through his "Training" methods. These involved things like shock therapy, hypnotization, and brainwashing. After Sitara discovered what her father's intentions were through a fight between her parents, she ran away, and hid for awhile, re-naming herself to Harsha Mun Marshclaw. However, over time, she developed a rude, bitter demeanor, and mostly pushed everybody away, till she met Percy. This happened when her father found her in a town and attacked her. Percy annihilated the kings guards, and wounded the king, thus rescuing her. A sibling-like relationship developed between the two, and they always had each other's backs. Percy however, was forced to abandon her for awhile, until they met again, and Harsha was a bit weaker, having been captured and tortured by Aelius.

Two villains work for a guild that do mob/gangster like jobs for income. Like they take a job request (like an assassination) on the board and if they complete it, then the guild gives them the reward money. However the two main villains could never successfully complete a job because they are clumsy, their powers suck, or they always get defeated by a hero. The only income they receive is pity change from the guild. The guild members pretty much call them lame villains and that heroes walk all over them. The guild starts seeing them as a waste of money and space so they start to evict them. The main characters would have nowhere else to go, but see a request that's asking to kill one of the top heroes in the area. They grab the form and accept the job....Concluida
With the Shadows
Saya grew up in a small village, on an extremely small island. Her dad died when she was a year old. He was in the army and went off to fight but never returned. Saya's mom had cancer since Saya was six. Everyone knew it, but she tried so hard to hide it rather than ask for help. She tried to fight it at the same time but it never worked, the treatments always failed. When she died, Saya was barely eight years old, and had to go live with her uncle, on the opposite coast of the island. He was abusive to her, but she never had anywhere to go and Saya felt bad for him. His wife had died the year before, so he didn't think he had a purpose in life. The neighbors knew what he was doing, but didn't have the proof to bring it to the police. Saya heard of a tiquando class nearby, and wanted to learn to protect herself, so she snuck in every day and practiced from a safe distance. One day, two kids found her and they later became friends, their names were Lin and Jaune. When Saya was eleven, her uncle was murdered, and the police arrested her, since she was the only one living there. Later, Lin and Jaune were arrested trying to break her out. They've been there ever since. Hey guys! So I know this is a long description, but that is just a little background information on the main character in this book.
