Anna looked around. "Where's Marco?" She asked. Marco was her sixteen year old cousin. He had shaggy brown hair and bright green eyes. They had always been very close, at least until Marco had started high school last year."He's at home." Her aunt replied. "Oh." Anna said with disappointment. "Are we still going to the carnival Friday?" Her aunt's smile faded. "He's actually going to a friend's house that day, but Saturday would work." Her aunt answered. Anna forced a smile. "Okay." If there were ever any sort of family gathering, you could always find Anna and Marco together. Whether it was watching movies or playing video games, they were a team. Marco was supposed to be the responsible one, but he liked to tease Anna from time to time. Anna always managed to return the favor. When they were younger they would almost always play Hide and Go Seek at family gatherings, it had kind of become a tradition for them. Anna still didn't know all of Marco's hiding places. Now Anna never really saw Marco. He was either at home, at school, or with friends. Anna felt heartbroken to see him with others, but it was part of life. It wasn't like Marco would be around forever... Right?
