I Think My Dad is Santa.

The little boy in the photo is Ben, he is autistic with lots of sensation issues. . He does not respond to a lot of things even christmas, to him it is just another day. Gerald is his Daddy, the man playing Santa, Ben has seen him twice this year. Then another Santa came round the village, from the look on Ben's face I could see he did not understand why Daddy was next to him and Santa was standing on a float in front of him. So I wrote this little poetic story. It is about a little boy who does not see his Dad much each day but just before christmas the little boys Daddy is extra busy. One day he catches a glimpse of something and the little boy thinks he knows why his Daddy is so busy. The story is based on the photo and Ben's Daddy always comes home black like he has been down a chimney. He does look like Father Christmas and you never really can tell, maybe he really is Father Christmas.
