Make It Last

Veronica (Ronnie) Ross met Taylor Higgins in the fifth grade. They've been inseparable ever since. He's been there for her, and she's been there for him. They're best friends. Now, it's summer of senior year. Ronnie already knows where she's going to college, but she won't tell Taylor. All he knows is that it isn't anywhere near their little town in Maine. Taylor still has no clue where he's going; he only knows that he wants to act. Taylor knows that this is probably their last summer together. Next summer will be full of college orientations and buying things for the dorms and such. He needs his last summer with his best friend to be memorable, for more than one reason. Not only because she's his best friend, but because he's completely head over heels in love with her and he never wants her to forget him. They have one summer left, and Taylor is determined to make it last.
