All her life, Gwen Stefani dreamed of having the perfect husband, the perfect family, and a perfect life. She was young, and naive, but she still yearned for the perfect life. As life went on, she met a charming man, who became her husband. With three kids, and a successful career, Gwen thought she had it all. Boy was she wrong.
Early in their marriage, Gwen soon becomes the victim of abuse, and when her husband cheats on her, she decides to end her marriage. She's overcome with depression, but finds unexpected solitude with a certain country superstar. Little did she know, her new beau has troubles of his own.

"Its been one year and eight months since, and now all of a sudden you bring her up, why now? Out of all days?" I ask Jake sincerely. "I can see the act your putting up in front of everyone. While this story bears no resemblance to it and honestly turned out quite different than I initially wanted, you hopefully still like it. Bradley and Stefani were married and have a child. Life has separated them and made them strangers. Even though they are separated, they keep finding their way back to each other, but that has to stop.
