Destroyed by causing Molly's agony, Sherlock intends to ensure that she can trust him again someday. However, he is only just beginning to comprehend why he felt the things he had felt when he told her he loved her, and the more time he spends trying to regain her friendship, the more he begins to question whether his feelings will allow their friendship to ever be the same.
