When the king of  Etharia issues an act - the Princess Act - for all single girls in the age range of 19-21, Vanessa, referred to as Nessa, finds herself a part of it. This act is issued to find a princess for Prince Adrian, and there are tests to go along with it.

The woman who completes these tests and wins the Prince's heart will officially become princess of Etharia, which, Nessa doesn't mind, but she has always wanted a free, adventurous life of her choice.

But Nessa soon realizes her life's path may be chosen for her.
