Ofunato, once a vibrant fishing community in Japan, turned to nothing but rubble and muddy ground by the 2011 earthquakes and tsunami.
Less than even minutes, and then everything was gone. Homes that had taken years to build, cars, belongings, gone.
In the midst of all this were one girl and one cat, each depending on the other.
The struggle to survive in the aftermath, pulling through the tsunami's wake, begins, and the two of them must survive with minimal resources, and then in a new country, stranded in the city with no tsunami shelter to go back to.

This is my first story so bear with me. This follows the TNMT movie from 2007, with of course you the lovely reader being added. This isn't the 2012 universe, it has nothing to do with that storyline. This is a female reader, I apologize but you can substitute the pronouns if needed :) Four turtles... four brothers... genetically reborn in the sewers of New York. Named after the great Renaissance masters... and trained as ninjas. They battled many creatures and foes before defeating their archenemy... the Shredder. But now, a greater evil is poised to destroy their very brotherhood. An evil born 3,000 years ago. It was in that time a warrior king named Yoatl led a brotherhood that fought side by side with one purpose: To conquer the kingdoms of the world. Yoatl had a daughter, Y/N, who fought against his will. She believed her family to be wrong, but trained among them to one day stop her father. But nothing could stand in their way... as they left a trail of destruction behind them. In his quest, Yoatl learned of a constellation known as the stars of Kikan. Every 3,000 years, the stars would align, opening a portal to a world of unknown power. Y/N tried to reason with him, but it was too late. He became immortal, but at a price. His brotherhood was turned to stone. And Y/N? She was forced into immortality alongside her father, as the gods saw punishing her for his wrongdoings was a fitting fate for the king. 13 monsters were unleashed into our world. The king was left on earth, unable to die or forget his mistake. Y/N, trapped in time by her father, never forgave him for what he'd done. She always stays close though, hopeful her father has seen the error of his ways. The monsters that were unleashed, contine to plague mankind to this very day. When disaster strikes. When a horrible fire breaks out. Rini is trapped and caught under piles of rocks and stones on top of her body from pieces of the falling building on top of her and her mother. When her mom kept trying to get her out. she screamed out at her husband who is also a firefighter as well. But he chose to recuse someone else's kid. He left his daughter to die while he recused his mistress's Amber's daughter instead of his own daughter. He assumed that the recuse team would make it to his wife and kid and assumed that Ruby was in more danger then Rini was right now, and he left with someone else and someone else's kid. He didn't even go back to see if his daughter made it out alright, he left her, he left her mother as her daughter screamed out for her daddy to come back. As she was being crushed to death when all her mother could do was cry and hold her the best she could and trying to lift the heavy stone off of her daughter's body. As she screamed out for help from anybody. Until she was recused by a familiar friendly face that's been in her life since the day she married her Husband. But when they reached the hospital, it was far too late to save Rini's life, she was gone leaving behind a brokenhearted mother and Serenity wanted justice for this. Serenity strikes out for revenge and files for divorce and wants to take everything they love. They had taken her daughter from her. Her death happened because her father abandoned Rini for another woman and child who wasn't even trapped or hurt. So, Serenity wants to make Amber pay for everything. Darien too would get what's coming to him. She was pissed and she had no reasons to hold back her own rampage for revenge. So, Serenity strikes out for revenge. Will she ever be able to love again? Or open her heart? again? Read it and see. Tears might be shed; I know I cried writing this to be honest.

Running from our future
Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind?
