Umbrella Garceron was unaware of her selfishness during her juvenility. She was too young to understand it, was her excuse, that's why she kept on doing what she thinks is correct. The wrong thinking made her childhood as selfish as it could get because what would be peaceful for her would be deteriorating to others, and what would be trivial for her is detrimental for others.

It affected her so much that she forgot what it was like to be selfless---to give way and act rationally to complement the others. But it was too late for her to realize, too late for her to fix her immaturity, and too late for her to stay away from guilt.

Because ever since Elgene Donovan, the child who she did wrong, bid goodbye to her, she believed that she'll never redeem her guilt... or so she thought.
