After the murder of her rebel mother, she is sent to an orphanage until she is adopted by the rich and snooty Lee family, who happens to be on the Firelord's military council.
She and Zuko become good friends. When Zuko gets banished, out of hatred for her new family, Bre Yin leaves with Zuko with hope for an adventure.
Soon she is faced with many troubles: kiddnapping, boys, losing her power to bend, and finally, ditching Zuko to possibly join the Gaang and save the world.

alrighty, I am really excited for this one! It is the second in the series and follows Book Two: Earth in Avatar: the Last Airbender. I will give a chapter every time the previous one gets ten reads, at least until they exceed that amount. No one has gotten over the mysterious death of Madelyn, least of all Zuko.
