Aggie Seki has a knack for fixing things, but her skills are reduced to mending Professor Trewlaney's tea cups and cleaning up the trails of destruction Peeves the Poltergeist leaves behind.
More than anything Aggie wants to fix the wizarding world by helping end the war starting outside of Hogwarts walls.
A chance arrives when Aggie discovers a Slytherin boy in her secrete hideout on the seventh floor.
The boy shows a large interest in a damaged vanishing cabinet. One which Aggie might be able to fix.
Through a series of lies, misplaced trust and imitations of friendship, Aggie finds herself the cause of an attack on Hogwarts and the death of one of the greatest wizards who ever lived.

Lily struggled as she moved up the stairs. Her husband James screamed, "Lily take Harry and run. He is here! I will fight him off." James turned and said, "I am sorry Angie." He whispered to himself. Keep my son and god children from harm as long as I am on the mortal plane and keep them from true harm. So mote it be." Someone burst in the door and said, "Avada Kedavra." The next second James fell from the floor. The figure moved up the stairs and went and said, "Stand aside girl." Lily screamed, "No. I will not." "Stand aside, girl." "Never, take me instead." "STAND ASIDE!" "NO!" "Very Well. Avada Kedavra." "I am sorry little one, It hurts worse when you are left alone. Dumbledore would use you to his own game. I hope you forgive me one day." The little guy surprised him as he whispered in snake tongue, " I know. Harry is sorry. Dumble bad." He smiled at him like a child greeting his favorite uncle and not the murderer of his parents. "You are a remarkable child." He said with a small smile. "I am sorry little speaker." He points his wand at him. "Avada Kedavra." That is where it all went wrong, the spell backfired, Voldemort vanished, people celebrated, and Dumbledore did some dastardly things on a little boy after he was dropped off at the Dursleys and McGonagall and Hagrid left. The first chapter starts at the summer before 3rd year. The cover photo is Angie that James referred to who is named Agatha Black.
