Every teenage girl dreams of visiting Paris, but for Kara Johnsons, it is more of a nightmare. She and her brother are sent to stay with their father who left home 8 years ago with no explanation except for "I'm sorry ". And to make matters worse , they learn that their father is about to remarry .
Karas dream is to become a dancer . She is supposed to be practising for a big championship coming up , but instead she is with her father in Paris. However , a handsome boy runs into her , and the next thing she knows, she finds herself changing . If only she was back home , in her dance studio , practising .
