13 year old Kylie, her 15 year old brother Randy, and the 3 year old twins Brianna & Austin must fend for themselves after being hidden away from the world in an attic. They go there at first so, their mother can win back her fathers love after marrying her fathers' half-brother. If he knew she had children he would have taken everything she ever loved away, leaving her and her children on the streets. After he dies she breaks the promise that she'd free them and they'd live a happy life together but, they don't know that of course. They think he's still alive, they think that she's still trying to win back his love. So, their mother leaves with her money and her younger lover without notice to leave her children with their evil Grandmother, still trapped in the attic.
