Korra isn't the only prodigy from the Southern Water Tribe. On the run from Amon's soldiers, Nerio finds a blind earthbender who will lead him to the people that will help him end Amon's reign of terror in Republic City. However, Nerio harbors a curse which he believes will ostracize him from the very people who are just as likely to end him. The friendships he makes will be built upon thin ice; unloading just an ounce of his secret could plunge him and anyone around him into the frozen abyss of his ancestry.

Kenshi knows this too and informs his dear friend Tenzin about what's happening, he also asks Tenzin to say to the Avatar that he can Bend Light and that's it nothing more, because he wants to let You and Korra meet on their own terms.
