Korra isn't the only prodigy from the Southern Water Tribe. On the run from Amon's soldiers, Nerio finds a blind earthbender who will lead him to the people that will help him end Amon's reign of terror in Republic City. However, Nerio harbors a curse which he believes will ostracize him from the very people who are just as likely to end him. The friendships he makes will be built upon thin ice; unloading just an ounce of his secret could plunge him and anyone around him into the frozen abyss of his ancestry.

False Flame | A Legend of Korra Fanfiction

4 parts Ongoing Mature

Zia has spent her whole life running. From her past. From her enemies. From the parts of herself she refuses to acknowledge. Republic City was supposed to be her fresh start-a place to disappear in the chaos, to finally be free. But staying in the shadows isn't as easy as she hoped. The city is on the brink of war, and no matter how hard she tries to keep her distance, she keeps getting pulled into a battle that isn't hers. She never meant to get involved. She never meant to stand at anyone's side. But avoiding the spotlight is difficult when you're teaming with the Avatar. The past doesn't let go so easily. And if Zia isn't careful, it will destroy everything she's built-including the one person she never expected to care about. ________________ This fic is in dedication to my very own lil white fire ferret who passed away a couple months ago. Love you, miss you always Fifi <3 This is a Legend of Korra fanfic, I do not own any of the characters, except my own that I add in, aka. Zia, Ryuu and a few others as well. This fic is avilable on Ao3 as well if you prefer to read there without Wattpad's stupid ads. Slow updates, aiming for once a week :)
