When I was a little girl, I loved the idea of being in love, now that I'm older I don't know if I believe in such things as happily, every after.
I blame Disney for putting the idea in my head that one day my prince will come, and problems are solved by breaking into song. I blame books for feeding that obsession of the perfect man with characters like Romeo, Mr. Darcy, Rhett Butler, Jay Gatsby; hell, even Christian Grey had his moments.
All of these novels on my bookshelf have one thing in common, their love stories were epic.
But this isn't their epic love story.
It's mine.
