When nuclear Armageddon destroys civilization on Earth, the only survivors are those on the 12 international space stations in orbit at the time. Three generations later, the 4,000 survivors living on a space ark of linked stations see their resources dwindle and face draconian measures established to ensure humanity's future. Desperately looking for a solution, the ark's leaders send 100 juvenile prisoners back to the planet to test its habitability. Having always lived in space, the exiles find the planet fascinating and terrifying, but with the fate of the human race in their hands, they must forge a path into the unknown.

We Are Grounders
Earth. It was the final destination for the citizens of the Ark, 100 years after the nuclear bombs that wiped out human civilisation and swamped the planet with radiation. But the Ark is dying. A fault in the system means that they won't last another three years without running out of oxygen. Sent to the ground, 100 expendable delinquents were to see if it was survivable. It was a suicide mission. A death sentence. But it was found that the ground wasn't consumed by radiation. Rather there was a different threat to those teenagers. A threat that was more ruthless and cunning. One that wanted war... They know that they will have to stick together. That they will be tested by the Earth and the secrets that it hides. And one girl, with secrets of her own, has enough determination to not only survive, but thrive. *** I do not own any part of The 100 tv series or book series, only my characters. When the 100 prisoners under the age of 18 are sent to Earth, is it already too late for the humanity of the leaders of the Ark? Markus Kane did not hesitate to send his own daughter. Just like Abby and Chancellor Jaha sent their children. But not everything goes as planned, the Earth is already inhabited .
