Lilac is not what you'd call an obedient child. She's the one who is always leading the midnight raids, and strikes all over her city. Her father, the leader of this place, always encouraged her to do rebellious things, because he couldn't in his youth and doesn't want her to have to miss out on being young and sleeping in. He doesn't always like the strikes, though. Her grandmother and grandfather like her doing whatever she wants, too. They're all very supportive thankfully.
One day, she's able to go to the border, and sneak past the hundreds of guards that are stationed there. What she sees, is horrible.
Dead trees are everywhere, and so are carcasses. Plants that are even the slightest bit green are practically non-existing. But, even in this harsh environment, a mythical creature lives, and Lilac miraculously finds them.
Seems cliché enough, right? But there's always a twist in good stories......

I don't have a legit real description of this story because it was supposed to be about OC and her cousins and their adventures but it turned into a Twilight story. I also don't have a different title that goes with what the story is actually about with how different the story turned out. Your mom found out later that he was murdered by his new wife for his money and there your mother was left a widow to care for her only daughter. At 10 she died and instead of going to an orphanage, you took care and lived in your mothers small cabin deep in the forest with a small garden of course. You always heard of the guardians who guarded the tree of feelings and for the townspeople they always spoke harshly about the one they call Nightmare. Rather Dream, he was worshipped and praised for protecting good and positive feelings. And Nightmare protected the negative ones which of course they did not want. You on the other hand saw that without sadness and loss the world would be out of balance. So you always thought of Nightmare as misunderstood. And owning a small flower shop in the town you made two baskets full of sweets, flowers, and bread, thinking of how it would be a nice thank you gift for the two guardians who protected their respectable feelings. But what you didn't know was with that simple gesture of kindness, a certain skeleton became very interested in you. This book will have you wear dresses and nightmare will of course wear clothing suitable close to the Middle Ages, so basically it's kinda like back then.
