"30 days. If after 30 days you don't fall for me, I will give up and never mention it again."- Avery. "It won't happen. Not even after 100 days."- Dean. "Challenge accepted, sir."- Avery. Avery Young was the new girl on campus at prestigious Raleigh Halls, the co-ed boarding school she was sent to for a year. She expected to learn Algebra, History, and Chemistry but she never expected to find herself making friends. She never expected to enjoy life at boarding school, forming bonds. She never expected to meet Dean Wade, the only other new kid on campus. Being thrown together constantly Avery finds herself becoming friends with the dark boy with the beautiful eyes and slowly she begins to feel more. But what is a girl supposed to do when the guy she wants just isn't interested? For Avery, the answer is simple, come up with an elaborate scheme to make him fall for her. She promises herself, him, and their friends that she will give up after 30 days if he doesn't fall for her. Only 30 days to make Dean Wade admit what she already knows, that his blue eyes don't lie.

"I still never said it. And besides that, you're not listing the basics of the relationship. We need rules and agreements. When is it over?" "We'll have a deal," I told her. "You commit wholeheartedly to us being in a fake relationship, and I'll continue to tutor you." "That's great," She said impassively. "But when does this end?" She looked between us. "When I'm sitting at a hundred, or when you win your girlfriend back?" "I'm not necessarily saying I want her back," I said. "We're just doing this for the fun of it. I can't really put a timing on it." She was quiet a moment before impulsively agreeing. "Fine," She gave a shrug. "Although, I will have to say, I feel bad for you." "Why do you feel bad for me?" "I can't be your Juliet."
