It wasn't like butterflies, and it wasn't caused by emotion. The feeling was a warning, a signal. Throughout her summer vacation, Riley Morgan has been getting more and more paranoid. Every once in a while for the past 2 months, she gets a bitter feeling in her stomach. It's not pain, it's not illness. It's a feeling of dread and death. She never really had friends to begin with; and now that the news of being rejected from the modeling school spread, no one would even look at her in a friendly way. She was mocked. She was bullied.
