Ever since some scientists of extraordinary knowledge invented the first ever animal-robots, the world has been overrun by them. These mechanical animals have made real animals the rarest things you can find. But, there are some of these robot-animals that are so dangerous they had to be locked away, and there was suddenly an attack on the city of Merrilea by one of them for an unknown reason.
When the princess of Ormere, Michiko Orino hears about this tragedy, she is sent over by her parents to rescue people trapped in Merrilea, but soon she finds herself hopelessly lost, left to fight these creatures and try to survive.
