Meet Lael Parker, only child, daughter of an Alpha, blunt, independent, sarcastic, loyal, protective, and smart. Ever since her mother was murdered, her father hasn’t been the same. So being the leader she was born to be, she steps up in her father’s place. She runs the pack, takes care of rogues, and trains other wolves all while trying to finish her senior year of high school. She knows she won’t be able to act as Alpha forever due to the whole mating thing. That’s exactly why she doesn’t want to meet her mate or have anything to do with him. It’s a good thing her mate, Ian Evans feels the same way, him being the soon-to-be Alpha of another pack. He’s not ready to give up his freedom yet. So what happens when these two stubborn people reject each other but can’t help the pull they get when the see each other at school? Guess we will have to find out, huh?

I glared up at him my eyes narrowed, "Excuse me?" I was beyond livid by the words that just came out of his mouth.
