I'm Raina Black, Jacob Black's sister. When trouble comes our way, Jacob reluctantly hands me over to the Cullens, his friend's boyfriend's family. When I have no one, I have to survive in a house full of vampires. I'm also mortal (for now), so I'm in even more danger. You didn't think that only the VAMPIRES had enemies, did you?
(Note: this was a 5th grade work of mine, but nostalgia is preventing me from tossing it, so read at your own risk. There will be a crap ton of cringe. Also, anything happening in this story that might be in other stories, plus the cover, is highly coincidental.)

I smelt something calming, like the smell of rain and vanilla and suddenly, a guy came in charging at Gabriel. Gabriel didn't have any time to react as he was knocked to the ground. I stared at them in shock as I backed away, not knowing what to do. " Leave him alone! " I yell at the stranger throwing my hands in the air. "It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it. I calmed down more as he picked up my small frame and held me close before whispering into my ear, "What has happened to you little one?" *~*~*~* Celeste has always been running.
