The year is 2137, 120 years after the Final Wars ended, and the kingdoms are now thriving again. Maddison Fortis is the princess of the illustrious Bluewater Kingdom. At the age of 19, she yearns to leave her royal duties and controlling parents behind, and longs to choose her own path. However, when things take a turn for the worse, will Maddison choose her freedom over her kingdom?
Side note: I've had these OCs since I was twelve, so I know the story probably isn't that great, although I've had 8 years to develop it. I'm protective of these characters, but I thought now is the time to share them with others.
Another side note: Despite the story being set in the future, the kingdoms seem to have regressed back in time (don't ask me why), and so a lot of the story has a Victorian feel to it.

The Duchesses
Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. In the war of 2015, the world was introduced to supernatural powers. It was found that more and more children around the world could do things that others couldn't even understand. Those children were researched and studied. Doctors all over the world tried to understand what made these kids the way they are. What changed in their DNA that gave them these powers? These kids were labeled special and were very revered. Andeline Masters is one of those children. She is also the daughter of the murdered King and Queen of the 1st kingdom. Her uncle, who now rules, abuses her powers and is slowly ruining the kingdom, bringing the other 7 down with him.
