On the morning of October 23rd 2077, the retro-future world known by many fell into a nuclear holocaust following international disputes over dwindling non-renewable resources. A decade later, America's first post-apocalyptic caravans (small groups of travellers usually specialising in trading with others) began forming from the rubble of fallen civilisations.

One of these formed from the survivors of "The Rockford Disaster", a locally known event that occurred once Rockford, Illinois was struck by a nuclear blast. Once coming to grips with their surroundings, old terminal entries created by military officials hints towards Project Antel, a military-operated program that promises the chance of a new life. Our story begins when the world ended.
