Alya Greenbloom was the most popular girl in the school. She always wore the latest fashion, all the boys loved her, and she got great grades. Although everyone thought she was amazing, the truth is she's not. She never invites anyone to her house because her mom and dad are abusive. She gets her clothes from her 19-year-old sister, and they are left to take care of their littlest brother. Alya is always covered in bruises, and she covers them up with her fashion sense and popularity.

One day, she meets a guy. He, unlike anyone she knows, seems genuine. He gets her roses and sneaks them in her locker. He invites her to his house. He is just too nice and innocent, and his kindness starts to rub off on Alya. And Alya, in turn, starts to fall for him.

Will everything Alya knew suddenly change?
