No one knows how the black smog came to be. With a single breath it boils the insides. Now the earth is full of monsters that were once docile creatures of the Old World. Underneath the ground humans still live, but only barely. In Russia there is such a place, the Shelter. Viktor has lived there his entire life, until his home is invade by a mysterious group. Now, controlled by nanobots, Viktor is apart of this group's elite soldiers, the Unmentionables. They do the jobs no other will, like traverse to the surface. But when Viktor is contacted by strange new beast on the surface, his world is thrown upside down as he unravels the twisted lies and reveals the truth. Does he wipe the creatures away so they may live on the surface once more? Or does he allow them to live, slowly decaying in the twisted catacombs covering all of Europe?

This serial is a shameless love letter to Metro 2033. Follow Viktor in all his battles and journeys, slowly discovering the truth and making choices that not only impact him, but the entire world.
