  Madeline Hader, a 26 year old woman, is fighting for freedom. She lost her sight at the age of 21. 
  She wanted to live, and wanted to never give up. She didn't want her complication to come in between her and her life. But her family, didn't want her to succeed. They didn't want a blind woman to succeed in life. All they wanted from her, was to sit back and marry her unemployed, alcoholic, disrespectful cousin. But Madeline wanted something else. She wanted liberty.
She had to leave. Because she refused to live like this. Her dreams had this other pathway on which she wanted to travel. 
That was what she did. She traveled. From the West to the East.
