Near the end of her senior year in high school, Prent meets a boy who doesn't have the ability to speak, Quin. While dealing with her own difficulties, Prent finds herself more intrigued with the boy who can't speak. Summer flies by quickly as the two spend their days together. But soon enough Quin delivers shocking news that flips their fantasies into horror. Prent discovers a small notebook in Quin's possesion and curiosuly flips through it, finding out terrifiying things inside, things he's too scared to say. He calls it the Book of Fear. Chase time with the two as they start to make every moment they have beautiful for the end to come.
