The continuation of the storyline from 343 Industries 2015 release Halo 5: Guardians which continues Sierra 117's pursuit of the UNSC A.I construct known as Cortana who has gone rogue inside the domain after her rampancy consumed her on the Didacts ship called the Collector. With the help of Spartan Locke they find out where she is and race to stop her from exterminating the human race.
