From her old and ugly appearance, Sean turned the woman away. The woman warned Sean not be deceived by haggard appearances...for beauty is found within. When he dismissed the woman again, the woman's appearance changed only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. Sean begged for forgiveness but it was to late, for the enchantress has only seen selfishness in Sean's heart. As punishment, she turned him into a hideous demon and placed a spell on the castle and all who lived there. As days lead into years, Sean and his servants were forgotten by the world for the enchantress erased all memory of them. And the rose the enchantress gave Sean was truly a enchanted rose. If he could learn to love another, (a male or female), and earn their love in return before the last petal falls, the curse will be broken. If not, Sean will remain a demon, for all time. The prince had fell into disrepair, for who could learn...to love a demon?

this is my rendition of beauty and the beast and its far from disney Love does not exist. Not for me anyways. How could anyone show love for a monster like me? I was a bastard of a man who hermits himself inside a large, ominous castle. Almost all of the rooms were empty, showing little sign of what used to be, of the servants and family that used to inhabit it. The only sign that people still lived here was the linen and food that would be outside my bedroom door every morning and my bed being made when I wasn't in the room by the few servants who chose to stay and be loyal to me and my curse. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. A majority of this story is a prequel, and will fall into a bit of a sequel as well, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
