"Unlock the door...please Quinn-" my brother whined from the opposite side of the bathroom door "for me..."

I shoved my sleeve down and wiped my eyes. Archie grabbed me into a warm hug the second I opened the door. Tears soaked my cheeks again.

"I'm sorry Archie." I croaked out. 

He just hugged me tighter and praised that everything would be okay. I wiped off my eyes and grabbed my suitcase. Today we were moving from the family home. I didn't want to leave but we had to. It was part of moving on. Yes, it meant new everything; new school, new people and new me. But dear god was I scared. What if it happened again? The thoughts would haunt me.
