Mystified by her parents' disappearance, June Corpelle takes on a journey of self-discovery, clouded with doubts about her origins.

The quest takes an intensifying turn as she meets the unlikely Members of a neighboring House who seem to be able to guide her search.
As June begins to form relationships with the quirky, and strange, Members of the House, she discovers that they are all trapped inside and soon comes to fear that she will also fall prisoner to the House.

Hidden behind its doors is the greatest adventure of June's life: filled with thrills, mysteries and heart-wrenching secrets that will forever change the course of her life. It will transport her to a world far more interesting than her own in which she will be forced to become a savior of hope.

June will have to battle between the needs of those she loves and those of her own. As she comes into adulthood, Evil will test her in ways which question June's humanity and force her to wage her life against an infinite thirst for power.

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. She makes friends, and she develops her first crush, that's quickly followed by her second. She's finally living the normal teenage life she'd dreamed of, but it doesn't last. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? One thing is for sure. She'll have to let go of her dream of 'normal.'
