THIS IS AN OLD STORY. IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, AND WAS POSTED FOR LAUGHS. JUST UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A SEA OF GRAMMATICAL ERROR AHEAD. This is an old Pokemon fanfiction I wrote, starting when I was twelve. I finished it a couple years ago, when I was thirteen (I think). This story was published on the Pokemon Brick Bronze Wiki, a fan forum for the Roblox game known as Pokemon Brick Bronze. The game has sadly been deleted since then due to copyright issues, but it continues to live on in my memory *sniffles*. As it is based off of a now-deleted, fan-made Pokemon game, the appeal will be very specific. Primarily, I posted this story here for laughs, and to see how I've improved since then. This story DID receive a lot of praise while it was in the works, however, looking back on it... I think it kinda sucked, to be blunt. But it's my story, and the first story that I ever completed, so I'm putting it here because I love it anyways and because I can. Enjoy! Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo.
