Who would have known she'd be the last hope for Pokémon against Team Void? She was just a human going about her life until one night everything changed. For Pokémon, disaster was striking. For her, her life would never be the same. What would you do if you had to live as different Pokémon for an unknown length of time? Well... This is the story of what SHE did. But I'll let you think about that. (This is NOT a Mystery Dungeon story. Sorry.) Genre: Action/Drama. > An official cover will come out eventually. The current one is temporary. < ( Pokémon belongs to rightful creators. This fanfiction only claims it's characters, storyline, and any art unless otherwise said.) [ WARNING: Contains violence, blood, death, detailed/graphic descriptions, amputation, gore, trauma, etc. This story will get pretty dark. It is not intended for younger audiences. It is meant for teens. I will mark it as Mature only if I have to. I know some people mature quicker. Please just be aware as you start to read. Thank you for the support. ]

The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. However, all of the characters are mine, with inclusion of an invention (The Flying Flower) and a new territory where the story is set.
