Lily was lost.  Her junior year of college had not gone well, and that was an understatement. So when she gets the chance to go home and student teach at her former dance studio and have unlimited solo studio time, she jumps on it. 

Dance was her outlet in high school and maybe getting back to her roots was just what she needed to fix the mess she had become.
