It's 2018 on the islands of Lagos, Nigeria and however hard Ekene, Tomilola and Elvis try to convince themselves that they're okay, they know they aren't. Ekene had always struggled to be noticed and acknowledged, but now, as it extends to even his house, he decides to give up. It's unfortunate when peer pressure lands him into a deep tunnel he will also struggle to get out of. Elvis is of the coming age where he realizes that everyone was created widely differently, and Tomilola's tenacity is what would take her places, keep her from going to places and get her in a situation she didn't plan for. One story, three points of view, numerous lessons.
