The clock is ticking...
Faven Deandra, a clumsy yet lively girl who never once failed to appreciate the most trivial things in life comes to face with an oddity of nature that very much claims its ultimate price. On the other hand, she wonders why the opposite poles attract...
Now, just because Kendra is blind doesn't mean she can't see and not just Matthew falling head over heels for Fay but also something more.
Iconic characters in literature are being stripped off of their immortal coil and made humane.
Personification takes a big hit here as the Black rose bleeds. And whilst Death is full of life, a flaw might just seem to be a rare beauty...

In which two ex-step-siblings reconnect after just about blowing up their family the first time around... Three years ago, Maddie fell hard for Jacob Isaacs, the smartest boy in her school. The only problem was this: Her dad had quite literally gotten engaged to his mother. The two tried to dampen the flames of their burgeoning attraction for each other but not before they got caught and were the talk of the town for months. After the fall out, Maddie moved away to try and start her life over and not be known as the girl who got caught doing it with her 'brother' at prom. She hasn't seen her family in ages and intends to keep things that way. Jacob, on the other hand, has worked hard to accomplish everything he's ever dreamed of. He's stayed close to home, done exceptionally well at school, and is adored by just about everyone who meets him. There's only one problem: There's a Maddie-shaped hole where his heart used to be. But no matter how hard he tries to reach out and find her, he can't. She won't let him. He let her down and gave up on them when she needed him most. And she's not ready to forgive and forget. But then Maddie's dad passes and she's forced to come home for his funeral. It should be a quick visit. She intends to make it one. But Jacob has other plans. He let his girl slip through his fingers once and he won't let that happen again. So now he has to convince her to give him one more chance. After all, they're not related to each other anymore.

Or so had she thought until she collided with the cheeky green-eyed boy, Kayden Lawson, who had the most charming tricks up his sleeve - tricks just smooth enough to make Elaine realise, that maybe, indeed, she did wear her heart out on her sleeve. Maybe, for a few late night talks, stolen glances and shy flirty exchanges - Elaine was completely willing to change everything about herself - to fit in. To make Kayden keep looking at her. But unfortunately, every person does not know how to keep care of another's heart, and often end up breaking them. And spoiler alert, Kayden turned out to be one of them. Too bad that even after her heart was abandoned, Elaine's heart kept singing Kayden's name like a long-forgotten song. Too bad that, undoubtedly, heartbreak weather had come. • ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ • unedited. ©2022 to Aishi Mitra @aishixwrites.

GROUNDHOG DAY mixed with SIXTEEN CANDLES and a splash of DOCTOR WHO. A boy forever reincarnated as himself meets his soulmate for the 200th time, but can she solve the puzzle and break the curse to make herself his last? ***** Martha Beckett's life is over, or so it feels after her father moves her from California to Illinois in the middle of her junior year of high school. But on her first day in her new school, she finds a peculiar boy waiting for her. James is cute, friendly, and obviously too good to be true. Her skepticism proves justified after he confides in her his secret: after he dies, he is reincarnated as himself to live his life again and again and again... Retaining all knowledge and skill acquired in his previous lives and with a general understanding of future events, James is effectively superhuman. And while Martha enjoys the inherent perks of associating with such a boy, she comes to learn of the despair and exhaustion underneath it all. With no permanent consequence or hope of release, James struggles to stave off nihilism with Martha his one tether to humanity. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE IN LOVE SONGS is, in fact, a love story, albeit a complicated one. Can Martha reconcile with the fact that James has loved hundreds of other Marthas before her and will most likely love hundreds thereafter? Is James' choice to engage and confide in Martha irresponsible and selfish? Would she be better off living her life unaware of the cosmic freak who has loved her for millennia?
