In all of my darkness, he was the one shred of light. I thought Josh and I would die just the way we were born: together. We were raised together, lived only two windows apart. He was my neighbor. He was my best friend. I thought having windows across from each other meant we were destined to put up with each other for the rest of our lives. He was one of the two people who saw me the way I was. But now I hate him. With the things I know now... I can't live a lie with someone I thought I could trust until the end of time. It's hard to go back to who we were when so much changes. ---- This book was originally titled His Neighbor. It's a comedy/drama/romance. Mostly it's a comedy, so deal with it, these people are damn crazy. This isn't your typical love story though, it's one that takes years to become what it should. So read this book, if you dare. You won't be the same after.

DARKNESS

Little did I know that a knock on my front door on a Wednesday afternoon would turn my life upside down. It would change everything. Had I have known this ever-so-useful piece of information beforehand, I would never have opened the door. In actual fact, I would have made sure I was as far away from it as possible. Unfortunately I don't happen to possess mind-reading powers, so therefore, the knock on the door came. And the one person who would singlehandedly destroy my life and make me question everything I've ever known, appeared. Right in front of me. He was RIGHT there. And there was nothing I could do. _______ Mature themes & some coarse language.
