Everything Kit ever knew was destroyed when the power plant went into meltdown, but he never had time to mourn. For in a world of magic and monsters, he has to fight for his life every day.

His task is to protect the outside world from the darkness which has overcome his home, if life outside the island even exists anymore. A task he never asked for but one he has little choice in. But when this becomes impossible, they will be forced to do what they long thought a hopeless dream. Return home.
