I promise, he was real. It's just that no one else could see him. I felt like I was loving someone who only exsisted in my dreams. But, I saw him. Everyday, I saw him. He showed up in my room. He talked to me. He solved my problems. He talked me through my first real breakup when I was fifteen. He was my best friend. He was always there. I loved him, but the only problem was that no one but me could see him. He was a figment of my imagination.

I wanted him to myself. I wanted to be his because no matter what we were meant to be. The universe brought us together for a reason. But sometimes you can't help who you fall in love with.
