Those hatched with the curse were killed upon realization of their gifts, before they could do harm to the tribe. But one animus wasn't afraid of his tribe, but for it. If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7. Most of this book was made before book 9: "Talons of Power" so I might get some stuff wrong. Wings Of Fire and it's characters does not belong to me but to Tui T. Sutherland, all rights are hers.
