In a futuristic society, Angelica has always accepted the dull, blank life of no emotions. Emotions have been outlawed, due to the fact that they "can interfere with productiveness and lead to much trouble." America has come to believe that a world without emotions is the way to go, with no distractions around. Angelica is surrounded by people on the borderline of being considered illegal; her friend Brynne, her sister Rosie, and Xavier. What will she do when she starts to feel something, too, and her very existence is illegal?
