There was no explanation. The world had just ended. We were stranded on a ship, we didn't know where we were headed. I stared out at the blue sea as the waves crashed against the boat. "Land ho! Or you know...whatever the hell your supposed to say!" I heard John's voice yell. I ran to the over side of the boat and looked at the bodies bobbling in the ocean. The screaming off in the distance caught my attention. I looked at the people all crowded together on the island surrounded by bright blue water and a sandy beach. I felt someone tug at my pants. I looked down at my little sister. "What is it, Emily?" I asked her. "There's people out there." She said to me. "...Yeah. There is." I said as I squinted my eyes. "How'd they get out there?" Emily asked me. "I'm not sure." I sighed as I stared out at the people waving their hands in the air trying to catch our attention.

"I didn't shoot her because I was 'brave'... I shot her because she was my daughter, and I didn't want her to walk around and be one of those flesh eaters..." I explained to John. "John, I'm not a leader, if anything, you're the leader." I told him. "No, man." John said with a laugh. "You are. Think about it Aaron, think about it." John said before he walked away. It has been 2 weeks into the apocalypse. Things aren't going to be easy for the group as they realize danger is closer than they thought. People are adapting to the new world, but some aren't adapting very well. Will the group be prepared for what's coming for them? Or will everything fall apart before they can even try to stop it?
