His breath caught in his throat and his heart beat so quickly he thought it might give out on him, and as he laid the first knock on the thick door a feeling of longing and desire crossed over him. Mitch longed to be inside the giant fortress, he longed to seek out the warm feeling that spread through him as he stared up at the beautiful yet intimidating stone walls of the castle. The fear that had once consumed him had evaporated and left him with a sense of want that he had never felt before. Maybe it was the danger that excited him, or maybe it was something else.
