I clamped my youthful hands over my ears to enclose the straining noise of horror that was right in front of me. My eyes forced themselves close not wanting to subject my memories to the terrors of blood and torment. For a bit I thought the wailing and cries had stopped until I heard it call my name.

The human looking creature opened his mouth wide and lowered it down to my neck. I could feel his teeth grazing my jugular vain. "Please don't!" I spoke loud. Loud enough to make him startle. He laughed and backed away. Now that I could see his full body, the emotion that bubbled deep inside of me gave itself a label. Attraction. Despite the situation, I couldn't help but feel infatuated with him. When I looked at his inhumane features, I saw beauty. „Come on.", the Doctor said pulling me by the hand, leaving our hiding place and heading straight towards the cages. Since we only saw the backsides of them we didn't know what to expect.The Doctor walked around the cages and pulled me with him until we were standing exactly between the cages. A gasp.
