Opal Oscar is an American girl living in a city full of people who treat her like she's a punching bag. She made herself shut off, become emotionless, numb, in attempt to show that she "didn't care" how she was treated. Living with practically nothing, Opal believed there was no hope in her life, until Niall Horan, a boy from a different town, started making her question her everything.
