When Jayson Ray works third shift at The Hotel, she just wants to get through the night so she can spend the next day resting and lounging about with her best friend, Andre, at his apartment. But things take a dramatic turn, and Jayson finds herself doing things she never thought she'd do; from shooting up the living dead, trying to save the human population, locking herself in an elevator for a day and a half, and still finding time for a romance, completely new to her.
