A crazy genius-scientist has boarded a cruise ship so he can put the finishing touches  on his experiment.  He is willing to risk not only his life, but also everyone that happens to be on the ship as well.  His experiment opens up a wormhole and sends the whole ship and everyone on it to another place in time.  Where are they? When are they? Can they get back to their own time?
