"Thank you for loving me."

❀

No one would think that the Davy Wade would die, much less, kill himself.

He was the epitome of a good person. Some even thought he was the second coming of Christ. But when the shock and confusion of Davy's suicide consume his town, the only plausible explanation that people can think of is that his best friend, Eden McCalister, was the one that killed him.

Eden, furious and devastated at the sudden news, climbs back into her cynical shell and curses the world for taking away the only person that she secretly loved. Her worried parents, afraid she might do something similar, send her to their local hospital for Therapy for Troubled Teens. Eden then is forced to be in a room full of people she thinks are completely insane.

One of them being Davy's cold older brother, Dawson Wade. The teens in therapy slowly find themselves helping one another, as well as the connection between Dawson and Eden increase while coping with Davy's suicide, Senior Year, and their own reluctant attraction.

❀

"That was the thing about Davy. You never really knew what he was thinking. He always surprised you."

~Highest Rank #60 in humor~ ~#3 in death and life~ Sixteen year old Genevieve Kaelin considers herself a loner, neither a misanthrope nor a deviant. She has simply lost her connection to people and can not get it back as long as she is still the host for rare syndromes. In a town as small as Granville, the news of her disease spread like wild fire before the doctor even announced to her family. People of Granville can be sympathetic, however, they have the ability to avoid Genevieve like a plague, as if her illness is contagious. So what's the point of trying to fit into society when she knows how feeble her heart gets when she feels everything too much? That is until she meets the shining beacon for the recklessly chaotic, Gray Easton. Who says you can only find love in a coffee shop? On an autumnal night, Genevieve walks into a tattoo parlour with her twin sister to get a tattoo and break the chain of being the angel and goodie two shoes. There's one thing they have in common - almost. Gray can't feel. He claims he has a paper heart but perhaps, words have emotion and if she were to write on his paper heart, he would feel something. Anything. Even if it's unending irritation of dealing with Genevieve's perks and need to be a sinner. But is she willing to risk her life and heart for him to feel love? Cover by @destrction Unedited. ~ ~ In which a girl with three deathly syndromes triggered by strong emotions falls in love with me, Gray Easton, the paper heart activist. Note: This book raises awareness on religion, mental health, bullying, people of color, rare syndromes and gender equality.
