Soul

They say the eyes are windows to the soul.

If you look into Marcy's eyes, you'll see pain. Nothing but raging battles and twisted thoughts, wounds hastily bandaged with whatever she could find. She is a negative soul. She hides it well, but deep down she is hurting.

Then there's Nova's eyes, holding nothing but sunshine. She is always smiling, seeing the bright side in every situation. She's a positive soul. She lives every day hoping for nothing but happiness.

Sometimes eyes are also reminders of how similar two people can be--as though they are different beings with the same soul.
